Eleven systems at a glance
The one-line version of each. Every system links to its full page, including who shouldn't buy it.
| System | Built for | The standout | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clover | Almost everyone: restaurants, retail, services | The app market fills nearly any gap | Overpriced unless the processing is bid |
| Material | Boutiques, apparel and specialty retail | $99/mo all-in, Shopify sync native | Retail only, no food service |
| Exatouch | Restaurants and shops that can't afford downtime | True offline, dual pricing native | Function-over-form Windows hardware |
| Korona POS | Multi-location and inventory-heavy retail | Inventory analytics with real depth | Cloud-only, wasted on one simple register |
| Retail Cloud | Apparel, specialty and event retail | Omnichannel, store plus pop-up plus online | Quote-based pricing; we negotiate it |
| Paradise POS | Bars, pizzerias, food trucks | Speed behind a busy bar | iPad-only, not for retail |
| HotSauce | High-volume restaurants and nightclubs | On-premise power, no cloud dependency | No remote dashboards or multi-site sync |
| Growthzilla | Salons, barbershops, med spas | Appointments to payroll, end to end | Appointment-first; not retail or food |
| KwickPOS | QSR to full service, multi-location groups | Restaurant cloud that still works offline | Restaurant-first, look elsewhere for retail |
| GRETA | Butchers, markets, specialty grocery | Scale integration done right | Specialty retail only |
| MYNT | Bilingual teams that want simplicity | Staff adoption in an afternoon | Skips deep specialty features |
Every “catch” above is what we would tell you on the phone. The detail pages go deeper. They cover what each system pairs with, and which ones run dual pricing built in.
Start with what you run
Skip the spec sheets. Here is where we'd point you first, based on a decade of installs.
None of these are quotas. If your current system already fits, we'll say so and leave it alone.
Losing big tickets to sticker shock?
Customer financing works with the register. So the customer who was going to think about it can fill out a form at checkout. They pay over time. You get paid. Your business is not the borrower.
What a POS costs when a broker is involved
Sticker prices on POS hardware are mostly fiction. What you actually pay depends on the program behind it, so here is how the cost really works.
Hardware: often free.
On accounts we open, terminals and much of the hardware come as free placement. When a system does carry a hardware cost, you'll see it as one plain number. That comes before you commit.
Software: right-sized.
Every platform sells tiers. Direct buyers often pay for one they never use. We spec the tier to how you really work, and nothing more.
Processing: bid, not listed.
This is where the real money hides. Payment companies bid for your volume through us. The winning number is usually thousands a year below list.
Your number comes from the free analysis. We use your own statement, and we put it in writing. No surprises after we install.
Switches that went smoothly
Quoted verbatim from public Google reviews. We don't write them or edit them.
“We have had a great experience with Northwest Payment Brokers! We recently switched POS systems and our team especially Alicia, Sydney and Drew have been extremely responsive and helpful with whatever questions we have had and made this transition very easy for us! Highly recommend!”
“Northwest Payment Brokers has been absolutely amazing to work with! Sydney and Jaeden were incredibly friendly and professional, making everything smooth and stress-free. Drew came out for the initial visit and helped with the setup, walking us through the entire process with ease. They now handle all of our payment processing, and we're saving money with lower fees while getting top-notch service.”
